What is the difference between Level 1, 2 and 3?
- Level 3 masks have a High Fluid Resistance of 160 mmHg. This makes them ideal for procedures where heavy to moderate amounts of fluid, spray and/or aerosols are produced.
- Level 2 masks have a High Fluid Resistance of 120 mmHg. Ideal for procedures where moderate to light amounts of fluid, spray and/or aerosols are produced.
- Both Level 2 and 3 have filtration levels of PFE = 99.9% @ 0.1 micron
- Level 1 masks have High Fluid Resistance of 80 mmHg and Filtration Efficiency BFE ≥ 95% PFE ≥ 95% @ 0.1 micron. These are ideal for procedures where low amounts of fluid, spray and/or aerosols are produced.
